  • i'm strong enough to let you go*

Believe me when I say I'm not looking for attention. I don't expect you to care about it, or me. I don't expect you to read it. But if you do read it, you must care. Don't act like you've forgotten.

    Remember when we first met?

    Remember when we first talked?

Remember when we’d have the most random conversations?

Remember when we got to know each other?

Remember when we loved being together?

Remember when you always made me happy?

Remember when we were always there for each other?

Remember when we told each other everything?

Remember when you got jealous easily?

Remember when we wanted each other?

    Remember when I liked you?

    Remember when you liked me?

Remember when you made me wait?

Remember when we were finally together?

Remember when we could talk about anything?

Remember when we could talk for hours?

Remember when we kept each others secrets?

Remember when we stopped telling each other everything?

Remember when we stopped being honest?

Remember when I lied to you?

Remember when you lied to me?

    Remember when we ended?

Remember when we stopped having conversations?

Remember when we stopped seeing each other?

Remember when you stopped making me happy?

Remember when you stopped being there?

Remember when you let me go so easily?

Remember when it was hard for me?

Remember when you continued to lie?

Remember when you thought you broke my heart?

Remember when my heart was still whole?

Remember when you forgot about me?

Remember when I couldn’t forget about you?

Remember when you stopped thinking about me?

Remember when you were completely over me?

Remember when I finally got over you?

Remember when I let you go?

And that's not because I'm weak.

It's because I'm finally strong enough.

  • heey boys,

Here's a long list of things that I could think of that will score the boys some points with the girls.
    Just sayin.
I can't take all the credit, some are mine, some I stole.
    It's just a list, read & comment.
And if a boy would like to leave some facts that girls could use to their advantage, that's cool too. (:

    1. All girls secretly love a guy who can sing.

    2. Sometimes buying us something with meaning means more than buying us something expensive.

    3. There never is a perfect moment, so if you want to ask her out, just do it.

    4. Being her friend comes before being in a romantic relationship.

    5. Never make her feel stupid for being upset about something.

    6. Never make fun of the things that mean the most to her.

    7. Make her feel like she has the world.

    8. Pick up the phone and call us, it means more than a text or an IM.

    9. Be there for us, no matter what.

    10. When you introduce her to your friends, make sure you tell them that she’s your girlfriend.

    11. No girl has any idea what you mean when you say that she’s “cute”.

    12. Comment on her personality so that she knows you like her for more than her looks.

    13. Tell us we’re hot, we think you’re talking about our body. Tell us we’re pretty, we think you’re talking about our face. Tell us we’re beautiful, we know you’re talking about our looks and our heart. Keep that in mind next time you give a compliment.

    14. We don’t need you to brag about your size, we really don’t care.

    15. Sometimes a hug can mean more than a kiss.

    16. If you do something with another girl that you don’t want us to know about, it’s considered cheating.

    17. We notice when your eyes wander.

    18. We love to talk, but we need you to talk to us too.

    19. We can tell when you’re not listening.

    20. Kiss us in the rain or the snow.

    21. Hold our hand even when you’re with your friends.

    22. Put your arm around us.

    23. Girls hate players.

    24. Girls tend to have good memories, so think before you speak.

    25. Don’t bring up our past mistakes in order to make yourself seem innocent.

    26. Never hit a girl, no matter what, it’s wrong.

    27. Honestly, if you tell a girl she’s nothing, she’ll come running.

    28. Just because you don’t like us, doesn’t mean we’ll stop liking you right away, give us some time.

    29. Never expect to be instantly forgiven.

    30. Let us cry when we need to.

    31. Never say I love you unless you’re sure you mean it.

    32. Don’t lie to us, we’ll find out.

    33. Girls talk. So mess up one relationship, you’re probably messing up a couple future ones too.

    34. Don’t hide your feelings.

    35. Don’t feel awkward to have meaningful conversations or talk about personal things with a girl.

    36. We need to know how much we matter to you.

    37. We will never forget what happened in the way you act like you’ve forgotten.

    38. You’ll still cross our minds years from now.

    39. When we say we don’t care, you should be able to tell that we don’t mean it.

    40. Girls love it when a guy can make them laugh.

    41. You need to know how to be serious at the right times.

    42. Don’t act like you’re taking everything as a joke.

    43. Look us in the eye.

    44. We want to know everything, we’re not nosy, just interested.

    45. Girls love it when a guy knows the details about their family, likes, dislikes, etc.

    46. Don’t show off for us, be yourself.

    47. Most girls would rather cuddle than make out.

    48. We’re not all about money.

    49. Not all girls are ditzy.

    50. We don’t need you to save the world, we just need you to be there.

    51. A kiss always means something.

    52. Don’t hide the fact that you’re mad at us, tell us.

    53. Girls really do feel bad about everything.

    54. Chances are, you will see a girl cry, be there for her when she needs you.

    55. We want you to participate in a conversation, don’t just let us talk.

    56. Girls love surprises.

    57. Talk to us about your problems.

    58. Respect that a certain time of month, we will act differently. Don’t hold it against us.

    59. Every girl wants a guy that will call her at 3 in the morning just to tell her he loves her.

    60. When we say we’re cold, that’s your invitation to come closer.

    61. Don’t jump to conclusions.

    62. Own up to your mistakes.

    63. Lay off the lame excuses.

    64. When you do something wrong, just tell her before she hears it from someone else.

    65. Only apologize when you mean it.

    66. You can’t help who you love, so don’t apologize for it.

    67. We love it when you make/write us something, we really don’t care if it’s good or not. It’s the thought that counts.

    68. Chances are, when you’re thinking about us, we’re thinking about you too.

    69. We’re sarcastically mean because we don’t want to show too much.

    70. Don’t make promises you can’t keep. Always keep the ones you make.

    71. You can’t promise to never hurt a girl.

    72. We like to keep your hoodies/jackets.

    73. We don’t need to be the center of your universe.

    74. It’s hard to be just friends with the person you fell hardest for.

    75. It’s as simple as just asking her if she likes you.

    76. Sometimes people play hard to get because they need to know that the other person’s feelings are for real.

    77. Don’t make us wait for you.

    78. Be protective, but give her her space.

    79. Wait until she’s ready.

    80. When you say 'we need to talk', we never think it’s something good.

    81. Don’t cheat, simple as that.

    82. Don’t expect us to be perfect, we don’t expect you to be.

    83. Leading girls on is a good way to lose them for good.

    84. All girls love a guy who is a good listener.

    85. Sometimes we need to handle things by ourselves.

    86. Hiding things from us is considered a bad sign.

    87. She will never stop caring even when you have.

    88. We’ll do dumb things for attention, it’s okay to call us on it.

    89. There’s always a reason for her to feel like she’s not good enough, convince her that she is.

    90. There is a big difference between love and in love.

  • nice guys always come last*

Don't be afraid to tell someone that you love them. If you do, they might break your heart, but if you don't, you might break theirs.

Incase you haven't noticed, it seems like the nice guys always come last. I've noticed this, but never really given it much thought, until now. How is this even fair to anyone?
The nice guys are the ones who love us, yet they're the ones we ignore because we're too busy chasing after the guys who don't want us, the guys who don't care.
Why do we do this? Because we're scared of actually being with someone who cares about us? The nice guys are the ones who do the best things for us, make us feel like we deserve it. They're just hoping that by giving a compliment or doing something nice, we'll finally notice them. But we don't, because it's easier to like someone who you can never get, than to like someone who you can get so easily. But it's not supposed to be easy.
There are guys out there who will date you to get what they want from you, guys that would make you cry and fight for you to be theirs. But there are also guys out there who would do anything for you, guys who care enough to never hurt you, guys who will be yours no matter what.
Yet those are the ones we ignore. The nice guys.
Because there are nice guys out there.
And they know that they're coming last to the one girl they wish they'd come first for, just once. The girl who comes to their mind all the time. The one girl, who he wishes would put him first; he come's last to her, because he's just the nice guy.
Change it. The nice guy, he's the one that deserves you, give him a chance instead of wasting your time on someone who will never care about you as much as the nice guys. Give the nice guys a reason to stay, put them first, every once in a while.

  • she truly did love him, and he truly never cared.

Too often we don't realize what we have until it's gone.
Too often we're too stubborn to say "I'm sorry, I was wrong."
Too often it seems we hurt the ones closest to our hearts.
And we let the most foolish things tear us apart.

I lay here, listening to my heart, feeling the music, when I catch myself wondering what could have been. Yes, I still think about you, you still cross my mind, every now and again. I could've loved you, I deffinately believe that. But you never gave me the chance to. You walked away without a care, it seems. Which makes me wonder if you ever did care or if you eventually stopped. But I try not to dwell on the past, I'm looking to the future, and you're not in it. If you would like to be, then you can put yourself there. You can talk to me first, and you can make me a part of your life. Because I'm done trying to be close to you. If you want it, then I sure do. But sometimes it's easier to pretend you don't care than to explain why you do. So I'm done showing how much I care, because it's obvious the point isn't getting to you. I want to be there for you, and I am, always. Just realize that. Because if you look into my eyes and listen to what I have to say, you'll realize that I'm the one girl who will never walk away.

Girls always seem to run from the guys that make them happy and fight for the ones who make them cry. I'm finished with that. You made me happy, no one ever made me happier. But no one ever walked away from me like you did, and I never want that to happen again. Everyone needs to notice the boys who make them happy, because those are the ones we need in our lives. Not the ones we have to fight to keep. The ones who are there forever no matter what. They're the ones who are never noticed, but the ones who deserve to be. Look around and find the boy who's dying to get you to notice them, he wants you and he will do anything for you to be his, even if he doesn't say it out loud. The ones who make us laugh, are always there, who thinks we're beautiful and convinces us it's the truth. Those are the ones we need, not the ones who make us cry and fight to be theirs. Find the boy you deserve, and be happy with them.

  • This Isn't Easy,

For those of you who have messed up, or for those of you who know what it's like to need people back in your life, maybe you'll understand what I'm saying when I write this. I'm writing this because I messed up, and I know I messed up. I won't use names, but hopefully the people I'm writing this to, will read this and try to understand. This isn't easy for me, but here it goes.

I'm sorry for the person that I am. I'm sorry for who I've been and for who I'm becoming. But I want to change it. I want to change who I am, and I know that it won't be easy. But all I want is to be someone you're proud of, to be someone I can be proud of. Someone who doesn't make stupid jokes, or lie, or make dumb excuses. Someone who doesn't make mistakes. I want to be someone who you can trust, and I will be, I promise you. This is hard for me because I know you won't believe it. I know you won't accept that I'm truly sorry, because I've had to say that far too many times. If I could take back every mistake, every single time I did something wrong, every time I hurt you, I would. Because the person in my past is different than the person I will be in the future. I'm not proud of  the person I've been. I want to be proud of the person I will become. I've told you I would change in the past, now I'll try. I will try harder than I have before because I honestly want you back in my life. I can't stand hurting you, so I'm going to stop. I don't fully expect to be forgiven, to be trusted like before. I don't expect for you to read this and instantly forgive me. It's happened a lot, and I know that. Don't think that I forget what I do and how I hurt you, because I remember, and I carry that dark weight around every single day. I want you to know that I'm sorry. But I know that two words are never going to be enough. I can pretend that I didn't do anything wrong, and I can come up with reasons why I did it. I'm finally owning up to my mistakes, and admitting that I was wrong and that I'm not proud of what I did. I don't like to see you hurting, any of you. I love all of you and nothing hurts worse than losing people you love. I know it's my fault. And I'm sorry. You don't hurt the people you love, you shouldn't, but I did and I regret it. I always say no regrets, but right now, it's the one thing I regret most in my life. I deserve you not believing that, but I hope you can find a little bit of truth in what I've said. And because I want you to be truly happy, if what would make you truly happy is for me to let go, then that's what I'm going to do, and I'll stop trying to work it out. If I've lost you for good, that will be hard to accept, but I'll try.
